Policies and Procedures
Registration can be made online, in person or by phone. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required per swimmer to reserve a spot. This deposit is applied towards registration. We accept VISA or Master Card or you can send a cheque to your Swim Time office within 48 hours of registration.
The balance of the registration fee is due on the first day of lessons. Failure to send your payment to Swim Time will result in the loss of your spot as well as your deposit.
Confirmation of registration will be made by email within 2 – 4 days after registration.
HST will be charged on all our services.
Sibling discount of $10, three or more children 10%, full year of $75 per child (for Fall, Winter and Spring session to be paid in September in full).
Largest single discount applies.
Discounts do not apply to advanced courses.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
There are NO refunds.
Cancellation prior to the start of the session will result in the loss of your deposit. However, once the session begins a credit will only be given for medical reasons, which must be supported by written cancellation and a Doctor’s note. A $50 administration fee, plus the cost of classes used up to the date of written notification received, will be deducted from the credit issued.

Should you require a day or time change due to a scheduling conflict, it takes time on our part to accommodate your request; therefore, a $15.00 change fee per child applies.
Parents are welcome to sit and watch their child’s class in our viewing gallery or on the pool deck. Please note that food, drink and shoes are not permitted on the pool deck, as these are health and safety regulations. No changing of diapers or clothes is permitted in the viewing gallery or on the pool deck.
Each participant is allotted one make-up class per session (maximum). Dates will be set one week after the start of each session. The make-up class can be booked after the regular scheduled class has officially been missed. There are enough time slots for each registered participant to receive one make-up. There are no make-up carryovers between sessions. Swim Time does not guarantee specific instructors for make-up classes. Absenteeism for any make-up will result in a lost class (there are no make-ups for a make-up). In the event of lesson cancellation by Swim Time due to unforeseen pool closures/break downs or inclement weather, we will reschedule your lesson.
Please have your child come to class prepared with a towel and bathing suit. Long hair should be pulled back. Goggles are optional, based on personal preference. All children under the age of 4 or not toilet trained must wear an approved elasticized legged swim diaper, such as “Swim Nappies” or “Monkey Doodlez”. NO EXCEPTIONS! They are available at the front desk for $19.99 + H.S.T.
Please note that the privacy cubicles are for changing purposes only. We have provided cubbies, hooks and shelves for the storage of clothing and other belongings. All families with mixed genders must use the Family change room. Please do not leave any valuables in the change rooms. Swim Time accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items. No food or drinks are permitted in the changerooms.
Families are eligible to claim up to $1000 per child (under the age of 16) for physical activity programs. Your copy of our registration form is your official tax receipt. Please maintain your copies as Swim Time will charge a $5 fee for reprinting copies of your form(s).
No photography allowed in the change rooms or the pool area. If you would like to take a picture of your child, you must make arrangements with a staff member at the front desk.
